Crytek Studios has clarified information on Ryse: Son of Rome's minimum and recommended system requirements for PC.
The system requirements initially listed on Ryse's Steam page were for 4k gameplay, leading to some confusion amongst gamers. The newly clarified system requirements for standard 1080p gameplay, revealed in a Steam forum update, are:

Ryse: Son of Rome will be released on PC on October 10. In IGN's review of the console release, we felt that it was entertaining but often valued spectacle over skill. Originally an Xbox exclusive, Crytek said it wanted to bring Ryse to PC as the platform would allow them to do "whatever we want."
