Guardians of the Galaxy remained box office champ in what turned out to be the lowest-grossing weekend of the year.
Marvel's sci-fi action comedy -- now in its sixth week of release -- finished the weekend at No. 1 with an estimated $10.2 million. Its domestic total to date now stands at $294.6 million and a worldwide cume of $586.2 million.
The weekend's only major new release was the Elvis-themed, faith-based drama The Identical, which earned blistering reviews and a measly 11th debut of $1.9 million. The Hollywood Reporter says The Identical "could suffer one of the worst openings of all time for a wide release." The movie is said to have cost $16 million to produce.

1. Guardians of the Galaxy $10.2 million
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles $6.5 million
