Microsoft and Xbox today revealed a number of upcoming titles via a special video game showcase for the media held in Singapore. Showing off soon-to-be-released titles including FIFA 15, Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2, this year's showcase carries more weight to Xbox compared to previous years' as they will be officially launching the Xbox One to the South East Asian markets in September.
Also, via strategic partnership with StarHub, Xbox One users in Singapore can now access StarHub TV's line-up of up to 89 channels via the Starhub TV Anywhere app which is free to download on Xbox One.
Announced in March, gamers can now purchase their Xbox Ones via official channels starting from SG$639. As of now, two bundles are available in store; the launch bundle which comes with a digital copy of FIFA 15 and the launch Kinect bundle that comes with a Kinect and digital copies of FIFA 15 and Dance Central Spotlight.
Also in conjuction with the launch of Xbox One in Singapore, Xbox is giving its fans the chance to win a trip of a lifetime. We were told that the “Xbox High Flyers” contest will grant one lucky Singaporean fan alongside other fans across the Asia region to jet set across the globe for a 10 day trip which include site visits to game studios and attending sporting matches. Details are still sketchy at the moment and for more details on the contest, make sure to head on to their official site.
We've been in contact with the guys at Xbox regarding the contest and will inform you once we have more info on it.
Thinking of pre-ordering your own Xbox? It is still open here.
Xbox One will make its official launch in SEA markets come September 23rd 2014. For all things Xbox, stay tuned to IGN Asia.
