Heroes of the Storm has entered its final stage of technical Alpha testing, with Blizzard aiming not to wipe player progress again.
The upcoming MOBA is back online now and the roster of available heroes has been filled out with the addition of Warcraft's Anub'arak and Diablo's Azmodan, both of which were announced previously.
As part of the patch any purchases made using real money prior to the wipe have been refunded to Battle.net accounts. As compensation for the reset progress, Blizzard is offering double XP for any games played in Practice, Cooperative, and Versus modes for the next week.
In IGN's preview, we explored the teamwork and tactics involved in Heroes of the Storm, and how the game's alternative approach to objectives sets it apart from the usual tower-pushing of the MOBA genre –– this being the reason Blizzard is calling it a Hero Brawler instead of a traditional MOBA.
