Assassin's Creed Anthology Dated and Priced

Following on from yesterday's leaked retail listing on Amazon France, Ubisoft has confirmed the existence of the Assassin's Creed Anthology Edition, and detailed when we'll be able to get hold of it.

The Assassin's Creed Anthology Edition will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 exclusively through Amazon in both Europe from November 29 for €150, and the UK from November 30 for £119.99.

Unfortunately for those of you Stateside, it appears Ubisoft has no plans to bring the Anthology Edition to America. A representative for the company told IGN that the bundle is not currently scheduled for release in the US.

The Assassin's Creed Anthology Edition will include include Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - The Da Vinci Edition, Assassin's Creed: Revelations - The Ottoman Edition and the just-released Assassin's Creed III. The bundle will also include all the expansion packs and DLC for the Assassin's Creed games, as well as the Assassin's Creed III Season Pass, which provides full access to all forthcoming downloadable content for the game.

Also included in the pack are five lithographs, a steel book and a collector’s box. For more details on the Assassin's Creed Anthology Edition, check out the original story.

Assassin's Creed Anthology Confirmed

Update: Ubisoft has now confirmed the existence of the bundle to IGN but has yet to comment on platform, pricing and release date.

Every console game in the Assassin's Creed series will be released in one box, according to a new listing on Amazon France.

The Assassin's Creed Anthology Edition is slated to include Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and the just-released Assassin's Creed III.

The listing also states that all singleplayer and multiplayer bonus DLC created for the games will be included, whether it be extra maps or bonus missions. Judging from the promotional image leaked below, it seems that the Assassin's Creed III Season Pass will also be part of the package.

According to the image, the pack will include "all Assassin's Creed games ever released on Xbox 360". Does this mean the bundle will only be available on Microsoft's platform?

IGN reached out to Ubisoft for a statement, but was told the company wasn't ready to comment on the leak. Given how Amazon France has previously proved reliable in outing both Call of Duty: Black Ops II and also the Killzone Trilogy bundle, it's a safe bet that this package is also legit.

Sony Reveals the Newest Perks for PlayStation Plus

Beginning today, October 16th, North American PlayStation Plus subscribers are going to get a host of new perks, in addition to some perks already in existence that will stick around past that date. New PlayStation Plus perks have yet to be announced in other territories.

For starters, PayDay: The Heist, the cooperative robbery/crime shooter, will be completely free to download. We liked PayDay when it was released on PS3 a year ago. Additionally, The Unfinished Swan, which we gave a 9.0, will be available early to PS+ users for $15. It’s available to everyone else next week.

But wait, there’s more! A new beta for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale becomes available today for PlayStation Plus users. Players can use either PS3 or Vita, and play in 2-on-2 and free-for-all matches over PSN. The same six characters from the previous beta – Colonel Radec, Fat Princess, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper, Parappa the Rapper and Kratos – are the six characters included in the beta.

Finally, the following games and DLC will receive discounts for all users, while Monster World IV and SEGA Rally Arcade will receive steep discounts only for PS+ members.

PS3 Games: Amy, Costume Quest, Dead Nation, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Dead Space 2, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, Infamous: Festival of Blood and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

Vita Games: Plants vs. Zombies and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack.

DLC: Call of Duty: Black Ops (Rezurrection), Costume Quest (Complete) and Zen Pinball 2 (The Paranormal, Sorcerer’s Lair and Plants vs. Zombies tables).

Team 7 #1 Review

Two issues in and Team 7 isn't doing much to justify its existence. It's not a bad book, there are funny beats here and there, some nice action moments, but it feels kinda pointless. Honestly, there are better DC books out there for your money. Team 7 just treads water, pretending to be important but never being anything more than “oh, that's was okay.”

Justin Jordan is at least having some fun. The highlights of this issue are the characters' quips and dialogue. Most of it is pretty light-hearted and funny. The story itself is not particularly interesting so far, though. Maybe, once this “Secret history of the New 52” finally rears its head, this book will be worth its cover price. Right now, three bucks for a few giggles is not exactly a great trade off.

Jesus Merino's art is all over the place in this issue. Some panels are finely detailed and look great. Others look rushed and lacking a polish. Overall, it gives the book a lackluster feel. The biggest art problem, however, is the overall design and look of the book. The characters look silly; the furthest thing from cool. Everything is battle armor and pouches. Seriously, if you didn't know better, you could easily mistake this book for a lousy title from the 90s. It has the all bad hallmarks, but none of the over-the-top fun. None of the heart. In short, the only thing that Team 7 has revealed about the history of the New 52 is that it's a time that is better off forgotten.
