Game of Thrones: Season 3 Premiere Date Teaser

On the heels of the first teaser poster being released for Game of Thrones: Season 3, HBO aired a new teaser promo Sunday night.

Like the poster, this is the most tease-y of teasers - pretty much just giving you the date Game of Thrones returns, and a few bits of intriguing voice over dialogue, much like the earliest Season 2 ads. But hey, the campaign has begun, which means more is to come...

First Game of Thrones: Season 3 Teaser Poster Released

HBO have released the first teaser poster for Game of Thrones: Season 3 and it's... Well, a pretty stark image, if you'll excuse the pun. It's basically just numbers, with the date of the show's return. Well, there are some swords in the first zero!

But look, at this point, we're all just psyched to see more of this show...

Game of Thrones Casts The King Beyond The Wall

Game of Thrones mega-casting news!  According to EW.com, the role of Mance Rayder, the leader of the intimidatingly massive army of Wildlings that Jon Snow look out upon in the GoT Season 2 finale, has been filled by the Belfast-born Irish actor Ciaran Hinds.

Check Out the New Characters and Cast for Game of Thrones Season 3!

Rayder, though never seen, has been referred to many times on the show as "The King Beyond the Wall"; a former member of the Night's Watch who's somehow managed to unite the brutal Wildling clans for a giant push South...to the Wall. You might know Hinds from HBO's Rome, or from USA's Political Animals, where he's been playing the Bill Clinton-esque ex-President, Bud Hammond.

Big Role Cast for Game of Thrones Season 3

Huffington Post has conformed, through HBO, that actor Iwan Rheon (Misfits) has been cast in the upcoming third season of Game of Thrones.

Now here's the rub. The title of Rheon's role is "Boy" but we believe that "Boy" = "Ramsay Snow, the Bastard of Bolton."

You can go here and see all the casting that was announced back at the Game of Thrones Comic-Con panel, but you'll see two big roles missing. Sure they've cast Olenna Tyrell, the Blackfish, the Reeds and Beric Dondarrion, but there's no mention yet of Mance Rayder or Ramsay - both of whom were referenced in Season 2.

Iwan Rheon.

Ramsay was mentioned by Lord Roose Bolton when he told Robb Stark that he could send his bastard son, Ramsay, and some soldiers to go reclaim Winterfell from Theon Greyjoy. We never saw Ramsay, but we know he was right outside the gates, surrounding Theon. A hopeless scenario that then caused Theon's men to turn on him.

A rumor circulated around last week from someone claiming they were on the set and saw Rheon in a scene and that scene definitely had him as Ramsay. That Tumblr blogger's page has since been deleted though.

Now, throw in this amazing Facebook photo (Rheon with Alfie Allen, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Gwendoline Christie) that surfaced last week and I think we've got something.

Brienne bomb!
