On the heels of the first teaser poster being released for Game of Thrones: Season 3, HBO aired a new teaser promo Sunday night.
Like the poster, this is the most tease-y of teasers - pretty much just giving you the date Game of Thrones returns, and a few bits of intriguing voice over dialogue, much like the earliest Season 2 ads. But hey, the campaign has begun, which means more is to come...
HBO have released the first teaser poster for Game of Thrones: Season 3 and it's... Well, a pretty stark image, if you'll excuse the pun. It's basically just numbers, with the date of the show's return. Well, there are some swords in the first zero!
But look, at this point, we're all just psyched to see more of this show...
The much buzzed-about new FOX series, The Following, has an attention-getting new poster. The series, created by Kevin Williamson (Scream, The Vampire Diaries) focuses on retired FBI agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon), who returns to his old job after the killer, Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), he caught years before escapes. But as it turns out, Carroll has spent his years behind bars somehow cultivating a cult-like group of followers, who will do some very horrific and shocking things in his name. Which the poster gives you a hint at...
Following Disney's Lucasfilm buyout on Tuesday, Star Wars poster boy Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker himself) revealed that he -- much like everyone else -- was caught completely by surprise when he heard the big news.
"I had no idea that George [Lucas] was going to sell to Disney until I read it online like everybody else," Hamill told EW. "He did tell us last summer about wanting to go on and do [Episodes] VII, VIII and IX, and that [newly appointed Lucasfilm president] Kathleen Kennedy would be doing them. He seems to be in a really good place. He's really happy. And that's nice because I know that when we were making the movies, he was not a jolly guy on set. [Laughs]"
So what did Lucas have to say last summer about the third trilogy? "Last August, he asked Carrie and I to have lunch with him and we did," he said. "I thought he was going to talk about either his retirement or the Star Wars TV series that I’ve heard about -- which I don't think we were going to be involved in anyway... So when he said, 'We decided we're going to do Episodes VII, VIII and IX,' I was just gobsmacked. 'What? Are you nuts?!' [Laughs]"
Continued Hamill, "I can see both sides of it. Because in a way, there was a beginning, a middle, and an end and we all lived happily ever after, and that's the way it should be -- and it's great that people have fond memories, if they do have fond memories. But on the other hand, there's this ravenous desire on the part of the true believers to have more and more and more material. It's one of those things: people either just don't care for it or are passionate about it. I guess that defines what cult movies are all about. We'll see."
And as for the buyout itself? "I have mixed feelings about that, but [Disney hasn't] done badly by Marvel and the Muppets and Pixar," Hamill responded. "It's one of those big decisions that at first seems unusual but then the more you look at it, the more it makes sense."
According to a recent interview with Lucas biographer Dale Pollock, the original outlines for Episodes VII, VIII and IX called for an older Luke Skywalker. While this is by no means evidence of anything -- after all, those particular drafts might already be scrapped -- there is still a chance that Hamill could reprise his role in the new films. Of course, for now, this all remains under the bubble of fanboy speculation.

A leaked image of a European poster for Grand Theft Auto V indicates the latest in Rockstar's blockbuster saga will be released in Spring 2013.
That news, via fan forum GTA-Five, is hardly unexpected, but this is the first time we've had reasonable confirmation of any sort of release window for the game. There is no indication if this timetable applies to a global release, or if Rockstar intends to stagger its release dates. Grand Theft Auto IV had a simultaneous release in Australia, Europe and North America, with Japan receiving the game some 6 months later.

It's also worth pointing out that the only system/publisher logos on the poster are for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It appears as though - for now - there are no plans for Wii U.

AMC have revealed the final key art/poster for The Walking Dead: Season 3. As with previous seasons, Rick Grimes is going solo on this poster. But of course the most notable new addition here is Rick's location - at a certain prison Walking Dead comic book fans have been looking forward to for quite some time.
The Walking Dead: Season 3 premieres Sunday, October 14th. Season 3 is the longest one yet with a total of sixteen episodes split into two eight-episode portions. The first eight will air this fall (presumably ending December 2nd, if there are no weeks off), followed by the second half of the season debuting in February.
Red Dwarf is returning to UK screens very soon, with TV channel Dave releasing the first poster from the forthcoming series.
The one-sheet – which can be seen below – reveals that the new series will commence at 9pm on Thursday, October 4th.
Red Dwarf X will run for six episodes, with the titles as follows…
1 - Trojan
2 - Fathers and Suns
3 - Lemons
4 - Entangled
5 - Dear Dave
6 - The Beginning
And it looks like the show will be screening simultaneously on PBS in the States, although that is yet to be confriemd. Whatever the case, we'll be reviewing the episodes here, so check back for further updates.
